Thunder's just a noise, boys, lightnin' does the work

Overall appearance: His overall appearance is of a fit young sports player. This isn't very surprising if you think about how much he's on the go. Seriously its like this kid eats about a pound of sugar every morning, just can’t keep him still. For his age Mike would be considered rather tall but not by much standing a 5’10”. Getting through some of the passageways of the dungeons does result in a headache or two. Mike’s hair is really a dark brown color however others confuse it to be black in color. Of course having dark hazel eyes with just a splash of green in them doesn’t help at all either. His facial features give almost a rectangle look sporting the long face until it squares off at his chin. When in School, his attire is that of Gryffindor House colors. When he's out of it, or just in between classes, he still wears his old house colors with pride, although they're just regular Muggle clothing. Being Muggle born Mike loves his Muggle clothing. Regardless of how mangy the article of clothing may be, Mike is able to make it good looking. His favorite article of clothing is that of a simple t-shirt and faded, worn blue jeans. [/size]

Overall Personality: Mike has the uncanny ability to create havoc and mischief wherever he should go. He is always laughing and joking and can hardly ever be seen without a grin on his face. Smart as he may be, with mischief come the arrogant side that shines through when his friends egg him on to do something. Mike will do anything to prove he is not a coward, and this usually comes in the form or practical jokes (the Weasley twins were his idols) or otherwise cruel punishments to whoever happens to be in his immediate vicinity.
Arrogance
We have already mentioned Mike's arrogant behavior round his friends, but I feel i need to expand on it slightly. The thing is, Mike doesn't actually care what you think of him, or how many detentions he gets, or even how many times he upsets someone. Mike does know limits, but doesn't often take note of them, and is always pushing the line with teachers. Saying that, Mike would never see physical harm come to anyone, and will do his utmost to see that his actions are justified... most of the time.
Loyalty
Friends are the most important thing to Mike, next to family, and have always been the most important thing in the world. Without his friends, Mike would be nothing, a nobody in the eyes of those he respects and loves. He would rather die than see his friends hurt, and will defend them with all he's got. Mike doesn't like to see his friends upset (let’s be honest who does?), and will do anything to cheer them up, whatever it takes. The same can be said for his families, and whatever he was willing to do for his friends, he’d go to even greater risks for his family members.
Mature
It happens to the best of them eventually. Believe it or not, Mike knows when to act his age, and when to act like a three year old. When he’s having one of his ‘bouts of Maturement’s it can come as a complete and total surprise to anyone who doesn’t really know him. As immature as Mike can be, he knows when to act his age.
Playful
This would correspond well with his mischeivious nature. Mike was always a big kid at heart, and while recent events may have matured him, it’s also brought him closer to the child that dwells within his heart.
Optimistic
Mike is always looking to the future with bright, fresh eyes despite the terrible fear of You-Know-Who. Somehow, he carries on the belief that everything will be alright in the end. Because of this, Mike is quite brave when entering in to unknown things. He has faith in himself and those around him, which lets him come out the other side battered and bruised, but with an infuriating ‘I told you so’ grin plastered across his face.

George Davis – Father/Royal Guard/Muggle
Amanda Cochrun (nee Davis) – Big Sister/School Teacher/Muggle
James Cochrun – Brother-in-Law/Med-School/Muggle
Pets: R.I.P Beno (Golden Lab)
Residence: Mike lives with his parents in London on Fleet St, however during the Summer Holidays his parents and himself stay at Plymouth.
History: Michael is the second child however only son to George and Eileen Davis. Having been born on a rather bright yet cold day on December 13th. Michael’s conception came to the Davis’ as a surprise five years after a vehicle accident in which Eileen had been told that she would no longer be able to have children. Yet when they received happy news for their second child the Davis’ were told that both Mother and Child could be lost at any time during the pregnancy. However the process went smoothly and ten years after their first child they welcomed Michael Alvin Davis to their family.
Being the youngest and their ‘miracle’ baby Michael had been able to get away with almost anything growing up. When he had been five years old his parents had gotten him a Golden Lab puppy which he affectionately called Beno (it wouldn’t be until the age of ten that Beno would die thanks to the Milk Man). He was spoiled rotten by both his parents and grandparents. Despite the ten year age difference between Amanda and himself the two had a rock solid relationship. Michael looked up to his older sister and held her on somewhat of a large pedestal. Yet at the age of eight it seemed Michael’s world began to crash down around him.
Since there had been a ten year difference in their ages when Michael was eight years old his sister whom he cherished dearly left home to continue her education in college. Emotionally depressed at her absence Michael began to act out in more ways than his parents thought natural. During more than one of his tantrums Michael had shattered all glass objects within the room he would occupy. Other instances’ objects would fly across the room, change in shape and/or color or much to his parents horror ending up on the roof of his house, without a ladder. However it seemed that all of their questions would be answered on the day of Michael’s Eleventh birthday when a Professor from Hogwarts showed up at his door with a letter of Acceptance.
Like many other Muggle-borns, or at least he thought so, boarding the Hogwarts Express had been a freighting thing. He was living behind everything he had known to enter into a strange new world were only his dreams seemed to have been able to take him before. Magic was real and he was capable of performing it. After what he had dubbed to be the smelly talking hat placed him in his house he had been accepted with warmth by the other Gryffindors. Though out his years at Hogwarts Michael expelled at Charms, and even though he did rather well in the subject holds a great dislike for potions (however he is convinced that all Gryffindors hate potions due to Professor Snape). His worse subject by far is Transfiguration.
Despite being intimidated at first by Hogwarts Mike quickly threw himself into his studies. Of course he is nowhere near the grade level of Hermione, but he does rather well for himself in his classes. His true talent however lies with pranks. His idols are the Weasley twins and he can always be found with one or more of their products on his being at all times. After all now that they are gone someone other than Peeves has to keep Hogwarts on it toes. When Michael isn’t indoors either studying or pranking someone he enjoys spending time outside on his broomstick.

His heart fluttered at the sight of the doctor sitting by herself in the rose garden. The rays of the sun seemed to bounce perfectly from her features giving her, in his opinion, a heavenly glow. Although to Scott she always seemed to be glowing. It was at times like this that he wished he wasn’t color blind. Sure he could see colors, however they were only in different shades of red leading up to black. He couldn’t even see white anymore, just a very light shade of grey. In fact when he had to go cloths shaping he usually took someone with him. After all he didn’t want to pick something that didn’t fit with anything he had in his wardrobe. The only reason he could dress himself now without looking like a slob was due to his memory. He had an excellent memory knowing where he placed a certain item. In fact he was pretty sure that he could walk throughout his room with his eyes closed dress himself and not bump into a single item or need a seeing stick for reference.
Yes his mutation had helped him to hone his other senses when he had lived blind for a month before receiving his glasses. He could hear where a person was moving and defend himself by hearing the movements of others. Also his sense of feel had picked up as well. He could tell you what an object was just by the texture. His sense of smell had grown although it wasn’t that much different than an average human being. However when it came to applying these sense’s who better to use them on than a certain red head. If he was blessed enough to have a quite classroom he would be able to tell you if she entered with his back turned to the door. Although there was something else that seemed to draw him towards the Telepath. What that was, was at the current moment unknown to him.
He watched her captivated as she twirled the rose in her fingers taking in the scent of the flower. He chuckled lightly as he turned his features to look down at the bench between them as the muscles within his face pulled back slightly forming a wide smile to bear a set of perfect white teeth. “Nothing says ‘We currently don’t like you Mr. Summers’ as giving a surprise pop quiz and then reminding them of a packet that’s due at the end of the week.” He turned his attention back up to glance at Jean. He noticed that she had already picked the thorns from the rose and placed it in her hair. Of course if he couldn’t tell the difference between her hair and the Rose he would have had a hard time telling it was there. The lens of his glasses only made her auburn hair that much darker.
Through his glasses he moved his gaze to look into what he knew to be emerald hues as he noted the knitting of her brows. At first he was about to question if everything was alright however stopped when asked a question of her own first. “It’s nothing Jean, really. I’ve just been stressed lately is all.” He said lightly with a small shrug of his shoulders. “The Institute is getting more students an paperwork is just piling up. Not to mention leaving to pick up students or preventing other’s from misusing their abilities in public. It just all adds up.” It was true that the Institute was seeing a steady increase in his residency however that wasn’t the complete truth. He didn’t dare tell her that he hadn’t been releasing the energy building up, and for someone who enjoyed being in the sun too much energy wasn’t exactly good for his health.
Blinking behind his glasses he watched as she stood and out stretched her hand to him. Staring from the out stretched hand, to her face and then back to the hand he reached out slightly placing his hand in her offering one. Bringing his thoughts back to what she asked he couldn’t help but smile softly at her. “Jean you’re going to have to be more specific. The Professor use to tell us a lot of things.” Charles had, in Scott’s eyes been the father that he had lost many years ago. So everything the Professor had ever said to Scott he had hung onto like gold. Although this was only after the Professor had proved that he was really trying to help the young man. At the time Scott had been known to do things as he felt like it without thinking much of those around him. It had earned him a few good lectures and only once the Professors disappointment
