Overall appearance: Hannah knows she’s not the prettiest girl in the universe. She knows she’s no bombshell, despite being blonde. On the other hand, she likes the way she looks and she’s not going to change that for anybody. Sure, she has long blonde hair that reaches her mid-back and is lifeless majority of the time unless she puts a real effort into it, but it’s her long blonde hair. After all, Hannah was raised to be a muggle and a wizard. She knows the beauty muggle hair care products will do for her hair. So, she curls it, or scrunches it more likely, to her liking when she’s not putting it up into a ponytail to keep out of the reach of her favorite devilish plants. No matter what, she also always parts her hair to the left. She leaves it that way because her mother used to part her hair that way for her when she was a child, and it makes her feel closer to her mother. Anyway, Hannah loves her eyes. They’re not exactly green, but they’re not exactly blue, either. When she’s outside, it’s sunny, she’s in a good mood, an overall good day, they’re a happy kind of blue. However, when she’s inside, it’s cloudy, or she’s in a bad (or mourning) mood, they’re a sad kind of green. Hannah isn’t very tan, either. She’s always inside studying for this test or that test with her friends. She also knows she doesn’t have the best fashion sense in the world, but that’s alright with her. She’s perfectly fine just wearing a T-shirt and jeans because that’s what she’s comfortable in.

Erised: Hannah’s greatest desire may seem weird to the average person, but no one ever said she was average! She wants to run the Three Broomsticks, have children, and send them off to Hogwarts.
Patronus: Her happiest moment was the summer before her 5th year at Hogwarts when she received her letter informing her that she was a Prefect. She went out that day to celebrate with both her mum and dad.
Boggart: Being killed in the war.
Dementor: Being in Herbology when she received the news about her mother being killed.
Amortentia:
- Roses: Because, they remind her of Valentine’s day where no one seems unloved.
- Rain: Because, it makes her think as if everything can be washed away to give life to new things.
- Gingerbread cookies: It reminds her of Christmas where she went home for the Holidays and baked with her mother. (The time when the whole family was together.)

Dislikes: Pureblood fanatics, Dark Lord, War, Crabbe and Goyle, Spiders, Potions, Transfiguration, Snobs, Prejudice people.
Strengths: Herbology, befriends easily, intelligent.
Weaknesses Transfiguration, gets nervous easily, over sensitive.
Overall Personality: Hannah is the kind of girl that does not like to lose her temper. She would rather walk away from a person she does not like then deck them in the face, or hit them with a spell. Sure, she can have a nasty temper when aggravated enough, but she gets it from her father, and she usually keeps it in check. She’s practical and logical. She’s sensitive and does not like to be picked on, but she will not fight back. Most likely, she will keep it on the inside and plot her revenge, but never follow through when it unless she is in an extremely bad mood.
It is very hard to earn her trust. Once someone does, however, she is a loyal friend. She is patient and caring. She is fun once you get to know her. On the other hand, she can be a deadly enemy. She does not claim to be the brightest person in the world-she is no Hermione Granger-but, she knows a thing or two about the world. She is not an optimistic, but she is not a pessimist, either. She is a realist and will base a decision, not matter how important, on what the outcome would likely be. She does not really like working with anyone, but will tolerate it for the sake of the project itself. She enjoys being alone, but, every now and again, she loves company.

History: Hannah Jolee Abbott was born May 26th, 1980. Her mother was a witch who attended Hogwarts. She graduated relatively unknown to everyone except her Hufflepuff friends. She was out adventuring muggle London one day when she stumbled upon a man who would later become her husband. They dated for a year before getting married, and, eleven months later, having Hannah. She was their only child, and, therefore, somewhat spoiled. Her mother would buy her toys to play with, and she’d even charm some things for her to be able to talk to when she had friends over. Her father worked quite a bit, but he would always make time to play with his daughter. Hannah attended a muggle school, due to her dad’s wishes. He had argued with her mother that, if she was going to go to Hogwarts and learn all about magical stuff, then she was going to have to learn some muggle stuff when she returned home for the Holidays. She wasn’t the most popular kid while attending school, and often got picked on for being a freak, but she managed to make a couple of friends before her eleventh birthday. She woke up on Saturday morning to a brown, tawny owl pecking at her window. After opening the window, and feeding the owl some cookies, she opened the letter. It was an acceptance to Hogwarts. Although she had been to Diagon Alley several times with her mother, she was excited to go this time because it meant she was able to buy her stuff for Hogwarts. On September 1st 1991, Hannah began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
She isn’t one to remember details, but she did remember sitting by herself until, after a while, a girl with red hair sat with her. The girl introduced herself as Susan, and she instantly knew they were going to become good friends. Of course, this was at the time that she wore her hair up in pigtails. The two girls stuck together for the remainder of the ride, and even got together on the boats. She remembered being astounded at how great the castle looked, and being shocked when the ghosts came in through the walls. Her mother had never told her about that! She remembered groaning when her name was called, she had never hated her last name more than at that moment. However, she was ecstatic when she was sorted into Hufflepuff. Hannah had set her dreams on being sorted into that house. After all, it was the house of her mother. She was even happier when Susan got sorted into Hufflepuff right behind her! She was glad that the two of them got to share a dormitory together. The year passed by pretty uneventful for her. She got to watch, with silent envy, as Harry Potter and his friends, as well as his house, won the House Cup, although she was glad that it didn’t go to the Slytherin house. The upperclassmen had to give her a peptalk afterwards. In her second year, the Chamber of Secrets was reopened, and, although she flushes now when it’s mentioned, Hannah was one of the people to believe it was Harry Potter. She didn’t want to believe it at first. She had believed he was a good guy at heart, but her friend, Ernie, quickly convinced her otherwise, and she avoided him like a plague. Especially when her other dear friend Justin was petrified. Although she’ll never admit it, Hannah had spent the better part of that day crying because she was worried. She constantly visited Justin, talking to him. She didn’t care if he was petrified or not, he was still one of her friends. But, when she heard, from Susan, that Hermione was also petrified, she practically dragged Ernie over to the boy who lived so that they could give him proper apologies. She was so embarrassed, but she never let anyone know. Her third year wasn’t any better than her second year. If anything, it was slightly worse. There had been rumors, and then confirmations, that Sirius Black had escaped from Azkaban-something Hannah’s mother had told her time and time again that it was an impossible thing to do. She would tell anyone who would listen that Sirius could turn into a flowering shrub. Of course, later on, she blamed it on the fact that her third year was when she was really getting into Herbology.
During her fourth year, Hannah, along with every other student in Hogwarts, was given the opportunity to watch the Triwizard Tournament. She dreamed about being picked to represent Hufflepuff, but her dreams were soon squashed when they forced the seventeen rule. She was one of the students who booed the loudest before she was shut up. On the other hand, she was extremely proud when her fellow Hufflepuff, as well as friend since they often hung out due to being in the same house, was chosen. She was glad that, even though she couldn’t represent her noble house, someone else could! But, her happiness quickly turned to range when Harry Potter was allowed to enter. Again, she was one of the students who booed the loudest. She hated to think bad of Harry, but she was angry that he was trying to take the fame away from her house…for Gryffindor again! And, although she didn’t exactly like Malfoy,-in fact, she quite disliked him and wished nothing more than for him to be kicked in the arm again-she wore the badges he made that said ‘Support Cedric’ with Ernie because she thought it would make Cedric feel better. Once he asked her to stop wearing them, she agreed, but then broke her promise because she was still so mad. And, although majority of the year was covered by the Triwizard Tournament, Hannah remembered being in the DADA class when Professor Moody-whom she thought was extremely creepy- taught them all about the Unforgivable Curses. She was also among the few that were discomforted by the site of Neville and Moody. She wanted to rush out of the room and would have if it weren’t for the fact that she considered that rude, and she wanted to make sure he was alright. Hannah must have offered Cedric help with the tasks a million times, but she was always shut down. Due to the rejection, she spent most of her free time in the Great Hall with Ernie studying for the O.W.L’s. She loved supporting her house, and she must have been one of the loudest to cheer when Cedric entered the maze. She was also one of the ones that dropped to her feet when Harry won the tournament. She burst into tears and didn’t even care that Harry had won and stolen the spotlight, again, because her fellow housemate, and friend, was now dead. And, despite being extremely sad about that, she pledged her belief that the Dark Lord was back. After all, even though they weren’t the best of friends, Harry wouldn’t kill one of her friends.
The summer before her fifth year was one of the best of her life. Hannah and her entire family (her mum and her dad) went out to have a day at the park. They were in the middle of a picnic when a Hogwarts owl landed in front of her. Thinking that it was her school supplies, she didn’t open it with much enthusiasm until she realized that she had been made into a prefect. Together with her mum, she started jumping up and down screaming. Needless to say, they had the best day. After returning to Hogwarts, she was extremely shocked at how everything changed so quickly. She had gone with creepy, but informative, classes with Moody to classes where she wasn’t learning anything at all with Professor Umbridge. Oh, she hated the woman more than anything. After all, she wasn’t a fan of pink. When Hermione came up to her with the idea of joining Dumbledore’s Army-although, Hannah was freaking out about the O.W.L’s at the time-she decided to join right away so that, at the very least, she wouldn’t fail defense. She also received her first detention, oddly enough. She had gotten mad at Umbridge when she claimed that Cedric had died for no good reason, and she couldn’t control herself from going off on her. Still, despite being taught Defense Against the Dark Arts, Hannah broke down crying in the middle of a Herbology lesson due to the heavy amounts of pressure she was putting on herself. She was taken to the Hospital Wing and given the Calming Draught. She spent majority of her time, after that, sending owls to her mother telling her how much she missed her and couldn’t wait to see her again on the holidays. Regardless of being treated, she let the pressure get to her and she managed to multiply and turn a ferret into a flock of flamingoes. She cried for days on end after that, but, fortunately, she made it through the rest of her exams. At the end of the year, she was there for her friends and fellow members of Dumbledore’s Army when Draco Malfoy, Goyle, and Crabbe attacked him. She already had a bone to pick with Goyle and Crabbe, and throwing curses at Malfoy was just a bonus. Hannah proceeded to spend her summer in France with her parents, a reward for doing well in her exams. She remembered kissing them each on the cheek and giving them both two hugs before boarding the Hogwarts train, and promising them both that she would visit during the Christmas holidays. She remembered sitting perfectly fine in her favorite lesson, Herbology, when Professor Sprout came up to her with a very sorrowful expression on her face. At first, she thought that it was merely Snowball. She was worried enough about her aging cat, but, when she was informed about how her mother had been killed earlier that day, presumably by Death Eaters, Hannah let out a wail and fell to her knees crying. She was sent home immediately so that she could comfort her dad, as well as attend the funeral. She was given the chance to be pulled out of Hogwarts for the year, but it was something she didn’t take. She was firm in her belief that her father would be fine, and that she couldn’t miss any classes. However, she can’t help but worry about her dad.

Hannah Jolee Abbott was not, by any means, a cruel person. She didn’t even know what that meant the first time. If one took the time to get to know her, she was sure they could consider her friendly. After all, she was a Hufflepuff for a reason. She was also loyal, and, despite what many people would think, she was not the kind of person who would completely break down once she was told her mother had died. Yes, she was prone to crying occasionally when something reminded her of her mother, but she wasn’t going to break down. What good what that do her? She wanted to make her mother proud by finishing her studies and achieving her dream. She had even talked to Tom about it over the summer after she had gotten back from her trip. She liked to keep her wish of becoming the bar owner a secret, but she had to tell someone soon.
She’d probably find Ernie and tell him. Thinking of her friend, she hadn’t really seen him around lately. That probably had something to do with the fact that she was, generally, avoiding her friends since she was so tired of them asking her how she was doing. She had assured them time and time again that she was fine, but they didn’t seem to want to take the hint. After all, would she be at school if something was the matter with her? Surely she wouldn’t be. Although, Hannah would be lying if she said that she hadn’t considered just not returning for the rest of the year. Her father had even begged her to stay, but she couldn’t do such a thing. She couldn’t stand being apart from her friends this year. They made her forget about her problems by making her laugh. Susan, Justin, and Ernie, the people she would mostly spend her days with nowadays, were her best friends. As much as she loved her father, she didn’t think spending a lot of time with him would be so smart.
So, no, Hannah was not a cruel person. She just didn’t want to spend time with her father. Was that so wrong?
