Distinguishing Features(if any): scars, his broad smile

Overall appearance:
Vincent stands at five foot, eleven inches and has a very strong build. His light brown hair is cut in a shag style and goes to just around his ears. His face has harsh, sculpted features and his eyes are a light brown. Most of the time, the first thing people notice is either his smile because he has a very nice smile, which overall is very friendly, or they notice his many, many scars that he has accumulated over his full moons. Vincent’s style is a very relaxed one. He can most often be found in a baseball cap, jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers. It is rare that he is to be in what he calls a ‘monkey suit’ or more commonly known as, a suit or tuxedo. He will usually choose comfort over style. Vincent absolutely hates the Hogwarts uniforms because he’s forced to wear the jacket and tie. Of course, he loosens the tie and takes off the jacket as soon as he thinks a teacher is not paying attention.

Overall Personality: If there’s one thing to be known about Vincent, it’s that he absolutely loves to help people. As he has gotten older, though, he has learned to put himself first occasionally because of the things that have happened to him in the past. In his free time, one of his favorite things to do is play music. As usual, he has a very bad view of his talent, which to most people is incredible. He’s a bit better at actually performing the material than he is completely creating it.
One of Vincent’s major flaws is his temper. Normally, he will let small things go and just let them roll of his back, but when it’s something major, he can become rather destructive. Also, he can be extremely impatient at certain points, especially in the mornings, before he’s had his coffee and he’s really tired…or any time around the full moon, of course. Another major flaw in Vincent’s personality is his complete inability to lie. He gets extremely outwardly nervous and makes it very obvious that he is lying.
Usually, things don’t really get to Vincent to make him sad. In fact, if anything, he will get mad. Occasionally, though, certain things will really get to him. For example, when someone mentions his dad, he might get angry or extremely sad. He misses how things used to be with his family and he hates the fact that his father ruined things for the entire family, whether it was his fault or not.

Family: Mother: Anna Dorée-muggle
Father: Charles Dorée-muggle/vampire
Brother : Tobias Dorée-Gryffindor graduate/Auror
Pets: yellow lab, Christopher
Residence: Augusta, Maine
History: Vincent was born to Anna and Charles Dorée on April 16, 1980 in Augusta, Maine. He had a fairly normal childhood, towards the beginning. Vincent and his older brother, Tobias were three years apart and they had the average brother and brother relationship. When they were younger, Tobias was the tough big brother that always teased, made fun of and beat up poor Vincent. Despite all of that, Vincent still looked up to his brother quite a lot. The older the both of them got, the more they began to see each other as equals, even though Vincent always saw Tobias as his role model. When Vincent turned eight years old, his brother Tobias, discovered his magical abilities. This took Anna and Charles completely by surprise because they are Muggles. However, they gave in because the owls just kept coming.
For three years, Vincent complained that he wanted to go to school, like his big brother. His parents kept telling him that he would never go to that school like Tobias…or so they thought. However, not longer after his parents tried to discourage him from getting his hopes up, he finally showed his magical ability by turning one of the many potted plants in the house into a Labrador retriever, to the horror of his mother. His parents tried their best to keep Vincent from going to Hogwarts, but the same thing happened: the owls kept coming and coming.
When Vincent was 12 years old and Tobias was 15 years old, Charles started acting a bit oddly and no one knew why. Or at least, no one shared this information with the boys. He started sleeping all day and only waking up at night. His temper, which was already very, very hot, only became worse. A few weeks after this change came into effect, Anna found out Charles had been cheating on her with a mystery woman, or so she thought. Soon after, the once loving couple divorced. This was quite a blow for young Vincent because he was only 13 years old when the divorce was final. The one thing that kept Vincent from completely breaking down was the fact that he had his big brother.
A year later, Charles disappeared from the town and no one knew where he had gone. This made the separation all that much harder on everyone, but mostly Vincent because he was so young and loved his father so much. However, with the help of the rest of his family, he was able to keep up a positive attitude about things.
The summer before Vincent fourth year at Hogwarts, Charles came back to town, unaware to anyone. He tracked Vincent down, in downtown Augusta, where he was doing a performance at a local café. Vincent was cornered by his father, who told him just what had happened to him. Charles had been attacked by a vampire and was now one himself. He tried to persuade Vincent that he was his favorite son and that he wanted to share the vampirism with him. Vincent attacked him with an Expelliarmus spell and escaped just as Charles was about to bite hi. He was later notified by the Ministry of his breaking the law. Luckily, since this was just his first offence, he got off with a warning.
At the beginning of the summer after Vincent’s fifth year at Hogwarts, he got cornered by yet another creature, but this one was a werewolf and a rather famous one, at that: Fenrir Greyback. Vincent had been receiving letters from not only his father, but from other vampires and werewolves of the underground community. They seemed to think that he was ‘quality material’ to become one of them. He was sure that his father had told them something that most likely wasn’t true. However, Fenrir Greyback seemed to think that he would be the perfect werewolf, so he made it happen.

Vincent grinned as he left the coffee shop. Not only did he have his favorite coffee drink ever: a pumpkin spice latte, but he was quite satisfied with the performance that he had just done. Oh, yes, for once, he was quite satisfied with his playing. Vincent played the guitar, among other instruments, but the guitar was his specialty. He started playing at a very young age, so he was definitely good; he just continuously doubted his talent. Vincent sighed and took a sip of his well deserved coffee. He hoisted his guitar strap higher up on his shoulder, so that it wouldn’t slip down and took a look around, to make sure it was safe to start moving home.
With another sip of his coffee, Vincent turned and started walking home. He, his mom and his brother all lived really close to where he played his gigs. Normally, he didn’t think twice about any creepers or dangerous people coming out of the alleys, but tonight was different. He had a queer feeling that he was being followed and he could have sworn that he heard someone whisper his voice.
“Vincent…”said a voice a bit louder.
Positive that he heard it this time, Vincent spun around and saw no one. In fact, the side walk was completely empty. He turned back around and what he saw made him drop his beloved coffee. “Dad?” he said, flabbergasted at the sight. He had really never expected to see his father again, especially in downtown Augusta. “Dad?” he asked again, shaking his head.
Charles laughed and moved forward, his hands in his pockets. “Hello, Vincent,” he said, coming up to Vincent and looking down at him, as he was still quite a bit taller than him. Laughing, he said,”You look confused, Vince. Let me clear things up for you.” He walked back and forth, as if thinking about how to go about telling Vincent the story of what happened to him. “I’m just going to come out with it,” he said, shrugging,”I was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and I got attacked…by a vampire.”
As if seeing his dad for the first time a few years wasn’t enough of a shock, he now found out that his father was a vampire. Did he believe it? He wasn’t so sure. He tilted his head to the side, narrowing his eyes. “I don’t believe you,” he said, hesitant.
Charles shrugged and turned away from Vincent for a moment. “It’s understandable, of course,” he said, calmly. Then, with incredible speed, he quickly pressed Vincent against the wall, baring his fangs. “Believe me yet, son?” he asked, grinning. Vincent pushed against him, but a fourteen year old boy against a grown man as a vampire was no match. “You and I have always had a special bond, Vincent. Definitely more than Tobias. What do you say we make that bond even stronger?” he asked, as he opened his mouth and started tilting his head to bite Vincent on the neck.
Vincent quickly pulled out his wand, pointed it at his father, and said,”Expelliarmus!” The vampire flew backwards and gave Vincent a chance to escape.
