=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Heather sighed as she looked up from her Astronomy textbook. She had been sitting outside for the past two hours pretending to be studying and now she could see the sun beginning to sink behind Hogwarts. She glanced at her watch as she let the textbook flop lazily onto her lap. It was five o’clock in the afternoon. Heather was sitting under a large oak tree that had lost its leaves to autumn, but the grass surrounding it was devoid of ice and snow. She had intentionally come outside to get away from distractions and get some of her homework done, something she had been putting off for some time now. However, Heathers mind did tend to wander, when unchecked, she could end up thinking about past, present and future events in way too much detail until they bear no resemblance to the original event. The specific event she had just been recalling was a past quidditch tryout where she had attempted to fill the position of a chaser, but whilst trying out, she caught a glance of the golden snitch as it flew circles around the potential seekers who were oblivious to its location. She eventually dropped the quaffle and went straight for the snitch in an attempt to show the novices how it’s done.
The rest of that particular memory was a blur, but she woke up a few days later in the hospital wing hearing something about the quaffle and a collision of some sorts. This empty gap left a lot to be speculated upon, and Heather capitalized on that with ease and satisfaction. She shook her head violently,. She was doing it again. She attempted to concentrate on a specific passage about how the starts could be used as reference for certain spells. The theory was that certain constellations gave better results when casting certain alchemy or healing spells, Heather was skeptical of such a theory but had no way to test it as, this was England, a place with less clear sky’s than any other county in the world. She pondered the theory momentarily before looking around, wondering if anyone was nearby. She was in the middle of a very large field with no paths leading directly to her. She was quite cut off from society.
She pulled out her wand and attempted to recall an alchemy spell or healing spell which she could use but couldn’t. She hadn’t done potions in what felt like years and she had little knowledge of healing spells. Heather was a very practical Witch, just reading about something was never enough for her, she preferred the hands on approach. She groaned in frustration as she let her wand hit the floor, as it did so it fired red sparks in all directions making her jump in surprise. She wasn’t hurt; she was just startled, not expecting the violent reaction to such a small fall. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Words: 487 Outfit: HERE! Status: Completed Notes: Open to all, have fun!

Jubilee yawned widely as she walked around the grounds. She had a strange feeling she should be somewhere around here at this moment and she always followed her instances. She had left James in the dorms when she had left after classes ended to follow this pull. tugging through the snow she castes a warmth spell to fend of the cold in her journey. The Hufflepuff uniform covered her frame. The button up shirt hung loose and the tie loose its self. The skirt whirled around her as she bounced through the snow. Her yellow Totoro bag thumped her side as she came to a stop. There is the grass was a girl. She was Ravenclaw and looked older then her. She seemed to be having a few problems with whatever she was reading. Jubilee came to a stop up the hill where the other sat at the bottom of a tree. "Hello would you like some help?" She didn't wait for a answer and plopped herself in the snow and shook off the flacks of snow. Jubilee grabbed the book to see what the other was learning. Her reddish brown covered head bent to read the passage in the book. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ song just my imagination running away with me outfit www.polyvore.com/hufflepuff/set?id=25230921note i couldn't find my bag but its yellow and a tote bag

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Heather didn’t hear any footsteps as the Hufflepuff approached her but she didn’t have time to contemplate who it was before the young girl had plucked Heathers textbook out of her hands and began to examine it. Heather resisted the urge to laugh at the younger girls actions as the book in question was far beyond her current level of education but Heather made no immediate attempt to grab the book back from the helpfully curious girl, waiting to see if she realized that although she had the best of intentions, she was no closer to helping her than her Astronomy teacher.
”I’m fine, thank you.” Heather replied politely as the girl began to read. The book in question had been taken out of the restricted section to be used in Heathers Astronomy essay which would go towards her Final NEWT exam. The project is to be based on a previously unstudied topic to show how well you can research a previously unseen aspect of magic and report about it to others. Heather finally remarked to the Hufflepuff: ”I admire you’re spirit, but I doubt you’ve encountered this stuff before.” Making sure to maintain a polite tone, she added: ”I’m Heather by the way. Smiling as she twirled her want between her fingers. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Outfit: HERE! Status: Completed Notes: Randomly Grabbing Her book, whoop! xD low muse soz :l

Jubilee had read this book before. She may be a Hufflepuff but that doesn't mean she cant be smarter then her year. She had read every book she could get her hands on meaning every book at Hogwarts and ones you couldn't get.She could tell the other thought she was just trying to help and didn't know a thing while being polite.
"Oh i might not be here in learning standards but i have read this book long ago and know of it." She had taken Astronomy before and adored it, though she loved all the classes she took. This was one of thee books that was more helpful to get in deep to the subject.
"I am Jubilee." She said in turn eying the wand and making sure she had her own on her, it was behind her ear, in case a stray spell flew. Why was it that older classmates think there juniors don't read ahead? Most don't but jubilee was just a little strange and reading kept her leveled and out of trouble.
