London's bridge between magical folk and muggles is falling down! It is the year 1999 and in a world hidden behind another, nothing has changed. People live, work, and play just as they always had. However, despite the joyous natures that accompany the realm of magic hidden within, there is now a looming shadow. This looming shadow is called the Ministry of Magic, who has recently issued a new proposal on the secrecy of magic decree. This has created a tension between two emerging political parties that now tear the Wizarding World asunder. The Formalists & The Egalitarians. The Formalists believe that magic should be kept a secret, while the Egalitarians are staring a new campaign leaning toward the equality of Muggles and Wizards. Because of this newfound struggle, the Ministry has failed to attend to society's problems. Now, the economy begins to decline and the crime rate begins to rise. With many wizards believing this is the beginning of the end, people fear that the end of the world approaches. However, some wizards remain vigilant in their optimism. And as time goes by, some begin to realize it is important to remember that even in the darkest of places, there is still light. In spite of all the macabre foreground, students still continue to enroll in Hogwarts. After all, Hogwarts is "supposedly" the safest place to be. The question simply stands -- How long will it stay that way? Welcome To Façade of RemissAn Original Character Harry Potter Roleplay
